At Luma Design we specialise in the production of timber frame fabrication drawings.

Luma Design enjoys the demands of designing challenging projects, we have recently completed the design of a circular house for a building contractor in central Scotland who was unable to find a kit supplier or designer to undertake the small complex building. (see photographs on projects page)

    We will take your architectural plans and use the drawings to produce the wall panel fabrication drawings, layout drawings, cutting lists and all relevant construction details relating to the timber frame to enable the manufacture and construction of your timber frame project no matter what shape or size.

Timber frame is a versatile construction method, quick and easy to construct, most dwelling houses can be watertight within 7 days (depending on size), enabling contractors to be working inside and outside simultaneously, thus reducing the construction time. Excellent thermal properties reduce heating & environmental costs.
